Planning a trip

Millions of people all over the world spend their holidays travelling. They travel to see other countries and continents, modern cities and the ruins of ancient towns, they travel to enjoy picturesque places or just for a change of scene. It's always interesting to discover new things and different ways of life, to meet different people, to try different food, to listen to different music. But to make your trip perfect you should plan it thoroughly in advance.

Here are some useful tips to simplify your travel:
1) Choose your location:

  • research it on-line;
  • discuss it with your co-traveller;
  • create a rough itinerary;
  • keep in mind weather conditions and climate;
  • make a list of places you would like to visit and make schedule of your vacation.
2) Choose the means of transport to get to your destination and research on local transportation.

3) Book your accommodation and tickets.

4) Get your documents in order.

5) Establish your budget (money you're ready to waste during vacation).

6) Tackle last-minute logistics:

  • Before departure start taking care of a number of key logistics: house-sitter, pet-sitter, phone, money (cash or credit card);
  • Take care of “stop” orders and advance payments.

7) Packing:

  • Clothes;
  • Medications;
  • Foodstuffs;
  • Currency;
  • Documents;
  • Gadgets.

8) Sleep well and try not to miss your flight. Enjoy your trip!!!
